PM Modi Holds Roadshow in Varanasi, Offers Prayers at Kashi Vishwanath Temple During UP Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted a grand roadshow in Varanasi on the second day of his visit to Uttar Pradesh, drawing massive public participation and enthusiastic crowds along the route. The Prime Minister also visited the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple, where he offered prayers amid Vedic chants and traditional rituals.

The roadshow began from the Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) and passed through several key city routes, including Lahartara, Kachahri, Ambedkar Chauraha, Chaukaghat, Teliyabag, Lahurabir, and Maidagin, before concluding at the Kashi Vishwanath Dham complex.

Large crowds gathered along the route, cheering and welcoming the Prime Minister. Party workers and local residents lined the streets, making the event a major public outreach moment during his constituency visit.

At the temple, PM Modi performed darshan and participated in rituals, reaffirming his continued connection with the spiritual and cultural heritage of Kashi.

The visit is part of his broader two-day tour of Uttar Pradesh, which also includes major infrastructure-related engagements. Following his Varanasi visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate key development projects in the state, including major expressway infrastructure.

Authorities described the roadshow as well-organised, with tight security arrangements and smooth traffic management throughout the city.
