Duleep Trophy 2024 All Teams: The domestic unit of the Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced all four teams for the 2024 Duleep Trophy. Surprisingly, star batsmen Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will not play in this domestic tournament, while earlier it was reported that both of them would be selected in the Duleep Trophy. Shubman Gill, Rituraj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer and Abhimanyu Easwaran have got the captaincy in this tournament. Let us tell you that the team has been announced only for the first round.

This time many star players of Team India will be seen in the Duleep Trophy. These include Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, Mohammad Siraj, Ishan Kishan, Sarfaraz Khan, Rituraj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer, Mayank Agarwal, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel, Shivam Dubey, Tilak Verma, Avesh Khan, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Mukesh Kumar.

Duleep Trophy 2024: Suryakumar, Rishabh Pant and Ishaan will be in focus
T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav has also been selected, who played a Test against Australia in 2023. Apart from Suryakumar, others have confirmed their place in the team. Wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, a member of India’s T20 World Cup winning team, will also play in this tournament. Another wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan will also play in it, last season this player was dropped from the BCCI’s central contract for giving priority to the Indian Premier League and not playing in the Ranji Trophy tournament.

India has to play two Test matches against Bangladesh, the first Test of which will start from September 19 in Chennai and from September 27 in Kanpur. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jai Shah said, “The players who will be selected for the Indian team for the home Test series against Bangladesh will be replaced by others in the Duleep Trophy.”
