Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh shone brightly for India in this match. Nitish scored 74 runs and Rinku scored a half-century of 53 runs. After that, India also showed strength in bowling and stopped the visiting team at just 135 runs. This is India’s 7th consecutive T20 series win at home.

In the match, Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bowl first. Initially, captain Nazmul Shanto’s decision proved to be very good as India lost 3 wickets at a score of 41. But Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh scored 108 runs in just 48 balls from here. Due to their 108-run partnership, the Indian team came into the driving seat in the match. Hardik Pandya scored 32 runs and in the end, Riyan Parag’s cameo innings of 15 runs in 6 balls also helped India reach the score of 221.
Indian bowlers wreaked havoc
When the Bangladesh team came to chase the huge target of 222 runs, the team had a very bad start. 4 batsmen of the visiting team had returned to the pavilion by the score of 46. Mahmudullah and Mehdi Hasan Miraz definitely added 38 runs together. Mahmudullah scored 41 runs in 39 balls and he was also the highest run scorer for the team, while Mehdi Hasan Miraz scored 16 runs. After the 5th wicket fell, Bangladesh lost wickets at regular intervals. The Bangladesh team was able to score only 135 runs in the stipulated 20 overs and lost the match by 86 runs.
In bowling for Team India, Nitish Reddy and Varun Chakraborty took two wickets each. Arshdeep Singh, Washington Sundar, Abhishek Sharma, Mayank Yadav and Riyan Parag all took one wicket each and broke the back of Bangladesh’s batting line-up.
