IPL 2024: The last league match of the Indian Premier League-2024 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals has been cancelled due to rain. It has been raining intermittently in Guwahati since Sunday evening. The toss took place at 10:30 pm with a delay of about three and a half hours, but the rain once again dashed the hopes of the fans. In such a situation, both the teams got one point each.
With these points, Kolkata (20 points) has finished first and Rajasthan (17 points) has finished third. In such a situation, Qualifier-1 will be played between Kolkata and Hyderabad on 21 May in Ahmedabad. The Eliminator will be played between Rajasthan and Bangalore on 22 May at the same ground. In the first match of the day, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Punjab Kings by 4 wickets. With this win, Hyderabad came to the Top-2.
