IPL 2024 RR vs LSG: Rajasthan beat Lucknow by 20 runs, Samson’s unbeaten 82-run innings; Pooran-Rahul’s fifties failed to help LSG win

IPL 2024 RR vs LSG: Rajasthan Royals (RR) started IPL-2024 with a win. The team defeated Lucknow Supergiants (LSG) by 20 runs in the first match of the day on Sunday.

IPL 2024 RR vs LSG: The match between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants was played on 24 March at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Rajasthan Royals batted first and scored 193 runs in 20 overs. Chasing the target, Lucknow lost more wickets in the beginning, so could only score 173 runs. Lucknow needed 42 runs in the last 3 overs, but Ravichandran Ashwin, who came to bowl in the 18th over, changed the course of the match by taking the wicket of Marcus Stoinis. He gave only 4 runs in this over. The rest of the work was done by Sandeep Sharma in the 19th over. The 19th over is considered very important and in such a situation, by giving only 11 runs, Sandeep had put the match in Rajasthan’s bag. Especially Avesh Khan, who came to bowl in the 20th over, impressed a lot, who did not even give a chance to Nicholas Pooran, who was set at the crease, to open his hands. Avesh gave only 6 runs in the last over.

Bowlers gave victory to Rajasthan
