The biggest amount in IPL retention has been given to South Africa’s Heinrich Klaasen. Hyderabad team has retained Klaasen by paying Rs 23 crore. On the other hand, RCB has given Rs 21 crore to Kohli. After this, Jasprit Bumrah has been retained by Mumbai for 18 crores. IPL 2025: CSK retained Dhoni for Rs 4 crore
In IPL retention, CSK has retained its biggest player MS Dhoni for Rs 4 crore. Dhoni has been retained by Chennai Super Kings as an uncapped player. This means that CSK has included Mahi in its team for just Rs 4 crore.Â
IPL 2025: Klaasen and Virat Kohli are the most expensive
Among the retained players, Heinrich Klaasen was the most expensive player who got 23 crores whereas Virat Kohli was the most expensive player among the retained Indian players. Kohli was retained by RCB for 21 crores.
