Cyclone Alert: Cyclone Approaching from Bay of Bengal, Administration on High Alert from Bengal to Andhra; Bihar to Also Witness Impact

​​IMD Rain Alert: Once again there is a stir in the Bay of Bengal. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that by Monday the low pressure system will turn into a cyclone. The effect of this cyclone will be seen from Bengal to Bihar.

Cyclone Alert: Monsoon is on the verge of bidding farewell to the entire country. Despite this, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rain warning in 10 states till October 16, due to which heavy rains are expected in many areas. According to the IMD, the southwest monsoon is likely to withdraw from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, parts of Maharashtra, Bihar and Jharkhand in the next two days. However, heavy rains are expected to continue in many states, especially South Peninsular India.

Meanwhile, the Bay of Bengal is once again in a state of turmoil. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that the low pressure system will turn into a cyclone by Monday. Seeing the cyclone, the Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh directed the officials of the Home and Disaster Management Department to remain alert and prepare for the possible effects, in which moderate to heavy rains are expected in many districts like Bapatla, Prakasam, Nellore, Kurnool and Nandyala. The effect of this cyclone will be seen from Bengal to Bihar.

According to the IMD forecast for the southern states, heavy rains may occur in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry till October 15, in Kerala in the next six days and in Andhra Pradesh from October 14 to 16. Karnataka will also receive rain till October 14. While Tamil Nadu and Kerala may receive very heavy rains on October 14 and 15.

Also, heavy rain is expected at some places in Gujarat today. Light to moderate rain is expected at some places in Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh. Delhi will remain partly cloudy today and the maximum temperature will be 34°C and the minimum temperature will be 19°C. No other specific temperature has been issued for the national capital.

The monsoon has started leaving Bihar, the rainy season is going to end with Vijayadashami. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain may occur at some places till October 18, especially in districts like Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, and Bhagalpur, an alert has been issued. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in the northern and southern parts of the state for the next 6 days. The night temperature is expected to fall gradually, while the day temperature may increase slightly, which will increase the humidity. The arrival of westerly winds is creating a cold atmosphere, and cold may start around Diwali and Chhath Mahaparva.
