Situation is bad due to humid heat in North India

The Meteorological Department uses four colors to issue weather related alerts in the country.
These alerts are… Green (no action needed), Yellow (watch and continue to monitor), Orange (be prepared to take action) and Red (action/assistance needed). A ‘Yellow Alert’ means heavy rainfall between six and 11 cm. A ‘Red Alert’ indicates heavy to very heavy rainfall of more than 20 cm in 24 hours, while an ‘Orange Alert’ means very heavy rainfall of six to 20 cm.
