Odisha and Chhattisgarh may experience very heavy rainfall during this period.

Rain is expected in the eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh today. Light rainfall may occur in several districts, including Gorakhpur, Deoria, Kushinagar, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, and Sonbhadra. The weather in the capital, Lucknow, is likely to remain warm, with a maximum temperature of around 35°C. There are indications that the rainfall coverage across the state will expand starting September 24.
Heavy Rain Alert for Jharkhand
Heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms is likely in several districts of Jharkhand today. Alerts have been issued for areas including Ranchi, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Deoghar, Giridih, and Hazaribagh. The spell of rain here could continue until September 26.
Relief in Delhi
Delhi is expected to see a respite from rain for the time being. The sky is likely to remain mainly clear from September 22 to 24. Daytime temperatures are projected to hover between 34°C and 36°C.
