Malaysian Navy Helicoptor Crash: Two helicopters of the Malaysian Navy collided in mid-air on Tuesday. 10 people have died in the accident. The Malaysian Navy said that this accident happened during the rehearsal of the Royal Malaysian Navy Parade. All those killed were Navy crew members.
According to BBC News, the incident took place at 9.30 am on Tuesday at Lumut Naval Base in Perak. All the bodies have been sent to the Lumut Airbase hospital, where they will be identified. According to news agency Reuters, all the deceased are under 40 years of age.

HOM helicopter and Fennec helicopter collided
The video of the helicopter collision is going viral on social media. According to the Malaysian Free Press report, rehearsals were going on for the parade on the 90th anniversary of the Navy. Then the HOM (M503-3) helicopter collided with the rotor of the Fennec helicopter.
After this, the Fennec helicopter fell into a nearby swimming pool. The HOM helicopter crashed near the stadium of Lumut base. Information about why and how this collision happened is not known. The Malaysian Navy said that one of their teams is investigating the entire matter.
Malaysia’s Defense Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad has left for the spot. He has appealed to the public not to share the video of the accident.
Malaysian helicopter crashed during rescue mission in March
Earlier in March, a helicopter of Malaysia’s Maritime Enforcement Agency crashed during a rescue mission. Fishermen rescued 4 people including the pilot. In February also, a Malaysian aircraft crashed in Selangor city. During this, 2 people including the pilot died.
