Hajj Yatra 2024: Good News for Pilgrims – Flights Available from 7 Cities, Check the Schedule

Hajj Yatra 2024: The first flight has been started from Srinagar to Medina. SpiceJet will operate special flights from 7 cities.

Hajj Yatra 2024:  There is good news for people going on Haj pilgrimage. SpiceJet has started air travel from Srinagar to Medina. SpiceJet will operate special flights from 7 cities. The first flight also left for Medina from Srinagar on Thursday. The company said that it has deployed 2 wide body A-340 aircraft with a capacity of 324 people for Haj pilgrims. According to the airlines, this year flights will be flown for Haj not only from Srinagar but also from 7 other cities. The 7 cities from which SpiceJet is going to operate special flights include Guwahati, Gaya, Bhopal, Indore, Aurangabad and Vijayawada. The airlines have deployed A-340 aircraft in Guwahati apart from Srinagar.

This will be the flight schedule 

According to the airlines, Hajj special flights are being operated from Srinagar, Gaya, Guwahati, Bhopal, Indore, Aurangabad and Vijayawada. Hajj special flights will operate from all these cities to Medina between 9 May and 31 May. Whereas, return flights from Jeddah will be available from 22 June. This year SpiceJet will operate a total of 102 flights for 13800 Hajj pilgrims. 

Passengers will not face any problem

The company said that apart from A-340 aircraft, the airline has also deployed Boeing 737 Max aircraft for Hajj operation. Last year, the airline earned around Rs 337 crore during the Hajj pilgrimage. SpiceJet Vice President Debashish Saha said, the airline is trying to ensure a hassle-free and enjoyable pilgrimage for Hajj pilgrims.

Hajj pilgrims will get Nusuk card

Nusuk card has been launched for entry to holy places during Hajj season. Nusuk card will be given to all pilgrims, there will be a digital version of it as well. Information of all pilgrims will be recorded in Nusuk card. This card has to be kept with you during Hajj pilgrimage. Through the card, officials will be able to easily identify Hajj pilgrims and entry of any fake passenger can be stopped.
