Iran-Israel War: Hezbollah Tightens Grip, Israeli Soldiers’ Bodies Pile Up—Is 2006 About to Repeat Itself?

Iran-Israel War: Hezbollah has killed more than 14 Israeli soldiers. Netanyahu's army is facing a lot of difficulties in advancing inside Lebanon. In such a situation, Israel is afraid that the situation may become like that of 2006.

Iran-Israel War: Israel has suffered a major setback in the ground battle with Hezbollah. Hezbollah fighters have killed 14 Israeli soldiers. Reports are coming that many more soldiers have been killed. More than 30 soldiers have been injured. This is the first such incident in Lebanon since the invasion began. But will Hezbollah be able to defeat the Israeli army and win this war?

The Israeli army has entered South Lebanon, but it has been more than 48 hours and it has not been able to advance beyond 500 meters. Because it is facing Hezbollah fighters, who are attacking with rockets. On Wednesday morning, Hezbollah first claimed to have driven away Israeli soldiers in the town of Adaiseh.

However, many of its fighters were killed in this war. The Lebanese army claimed that the Israeli army had advanced about 400 meters into Lebanon and then returned.

Hezbollah Destroys Israeli Tanks,
IDF Fears Repeat of 2006 Defeat

To avoid a situation like 2006 the Israeli Army IDF gave clarification. They released a video and said that their ground war with Hezbollah is continuing. The video shows soldiers moving forward. Shortly after this, Hezbollah claimed that it destroyed three Israeli tanks.

These Merkava tanks, located near Maroun al-Ras village in the eastern part of the border, were targeted with rockets. Earlier, Hezbollah had claimed to have carried out a deadly attack on Israeli soldiers in the same area.

The Israeli army spokesperson warned that we have the capability to attack any area in the Middle East. And our enemies who have not understood this yet, will understand soon. But the way Hezbollah is getting the upper hand in the ground attack, Israel is afraid that the situation may become like 2006, when it had to face defeat from Hezbollah.

What is the danger?

According to Al Jazeera’s report, Hezbollah knows that if Israeli army remains present inside Lebanon, then Israel will neither launch rocket attacks nor use F-35 fighter planes in those areas. Because if such bombing is done, then there is a danger of Israeli soldiers dying.

On the other hand, Hezbollah is equipped with anti-aircraft missiles, which can attack at any time. Apart from this, Hezbollah fighters are more familiar with these areas. They have training in guerrilla warfare. That is why they can overpower Israeli soldiers. If they fight Israel, then they will also get the support of the people of Lebanon.
