CG Government Job: The Chhattisgarh government is continuously taking steps to provide better employment opportunities for the youth. As part of this effort, the recruitment process for 50 posts of Transport Constable in the Transport Department is moving forward. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and the guidance of Transport Minister Kedar Kashyap, necessary actions are being taken to complete the recruitment process in a transparent and time-bound manner. Selected candidates will proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process.
Additional Transport Commissioner D. Ravishankar stated that the Transport Department had issued an advertisement for the recruitment of 50 Transport Constables. The written examination for these posts was conducted on April 19, 2026. Following the receipt of the written exam results from Vyapam, a total of 250 candidates have been shortlisted for the next stage based on their marks and eligibility.
The shortlisted candidates will undergo physical standard tests and document verification. The list of selected candidates and their call letters are available on the Transport Department’s website (cgtransport.gov.in) and on the notice board of the Transport Commissioner’s office. This initiative by the state government will not only create employment opportunities for the youth in the Transport Department but also promote transparency and fairness in the recruitment process.
