RRB JE 2026: Recruitment is underway for 4,029 Junior Engineer (JE) vacancies in the Railways. The RRB has set September 13 as the application deadline and September 15, 2026, as the last date for fee payment. Educational Qualification and Age Limit for JE Posts
To participate in this recruitment, candidates must possess an engineering degree or a 3-year diploma in the relevant field from a recognized university or institute, depending on the specific post. Additionally, candidates must be between 18 and 33 years of age at the time of application. The age calculation will be based on January 1, 2027.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹500, while SC, ST, and PH (Physically Handicapped) candidates must pay ₹250. However, following the completion of CBT-1, ₹400 will be refunded to General/OBC/EWS candidates, and the full fee will be refunded to SC/ST/PH/Female candidates.

Selection Process for Recruitment
Selection for the Railway Junior Engineer posts will be conducted through a Computer-Based Test (CBT), Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME). A total of 4,029 vacant posts will be filled through this recruitment drive.
