To ensure that ordinary citizens in Chhattisgarh can easily access government services, five new online services are being introduced on the ‘Seva Setu’ portal. This will spare people from having to make repeated visits to government offices for tasks related to various departments. Citizens will be able to submit applications online from the comfort of their homes, saving both time and effort.
Five New Services to be Added to the ‘Seva Setu’ Portal
The new services include three from the Public Health Engineering Department, one from the School Education Department, and one from the Veterinary Services Department. These will facilitate online processes such as obtaining permission for drilling tube wells, the refund of earnest money deposits to unsuccessful bidders following tender evaluations, and the testing of drinking water sources.
Additionally, it will be possible to apply online for a Transfer Certificate (TC) through the School Education Department. The portal will also provide a facility to report outbreaks of animal diseases to the Veterinary Services Department.
Training for Officials and Staff
To ensure the smooth operation of these new online services, Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh has directed that training be provided to the officials and staff of the relevant departments. He has instructed that the date, time, and venue for the training be finalized and communicated to the District Office, while also ensuring the attendance of the concerned personnel.
Relief for Citizens
Moving these services online will make government procedures simpler and more convenient. Citizens will no longer need to visit government offices repeatedly to submit applications or complete other tasks. Furthermore, the increased availability of services through digital channels will save time and contribute to greater transparency in government operations.
