Navalny was considered a staunch opponent of Russia’s current President Vladimir Putin. According to media reports, when Navalny was walking in the jail on Friday, his condition was not good. He informed the authorities about this and became unconscious. Medical staff were called immediately. But he could not regain consciousness. What caused Navalny’s death? At present, its exact information has not been revealed.
Earlier, rumors had surfaced about Navalny that he was poisoned to death in Siberia in 2020. However, the Russian government called this statement a mere rumour. In the statement from the government, it was said that there is no evidence that he has been poisoned with nerve agent. Not only this, rumors of his disappearance from jail also surfaced.
Last year, Navalny’s sentence was increased to 19 years. After which he posted on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, Not me, you are scared and are losing the will to protest. Navalny was found accused in several cases related to parole violation, fraud and contempt of court.
