Record transfers in Chhattisgarh: Before the implementation of the code of conduct, record transfers have taken place in Chhattisgarh. If we look at the figures, more than 500 transfers have taken place in departments like General Administration, Police Department, Forest Department, Revenue Department, School Education Department etc. within seven days.

The speed of the number of transfers can be estimated from the day the code of conduct came into force, in which 276 officers were changed within 24 hours. The code of conduct has come into force as soon as the Lok Sabha elections are announced.

Although this exercise of administrative surgery has been going on in the state since the formation of the government, but in the last 15 days, the number of transfers has increased rapidly, while in the last one week, the list was released by the government on a large scale daily.

The state government also changed the secretary of the General Administration Department in an exercise of administrative surgery. Earlier, DD Singh was holding the post of Secretary, General Administration. He had received responsibility in the previous government also. BJP made P. Anbalagan its secretary. On March 9, the state government had made a major reshuffle in the general administration.

Amidst the new posting, EOW and ACB chiefs were also changed and Amresh Mishra got the responsibility. Its order was issued on 12 March. Earlier on March 11, the state government issued orders to attach 91 police personnel to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

This is the first time that such a large number of police personnel from the state have been included in the Central Investigation Agency. With 276 transfers within a day, the maximum number of officers and employees were changed in the police department. This includes 82 police station staff including 13 Additional SP, 35 DSP, 83 TI. Apart from this, officers of 27 jail departments are also included. 36 IFS officers are also included in the list.

During examinations 44 district Education officers changed

The transfer order of 44 district education officers was also a topic of discussion amid the board examinations. The School Education Department had issued this order on March 13. In this, the in-charge principal and the principal were made DEO, while the long-serving officers were removed.
