PM Modi in Udhampur, Elections 2024: Campaigning for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections is going on. Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Udhampur on Friday (April 12) to campaign. During this, PM Modi said that Jammu and Kashmir will get its state status back and the time is not far when assembly elections will be held in the Union Territory. The Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded Union Minister Jitendra Singh from Udhampur.Â
In his address, PM Modi said that the weak governments of Congress kept the Shahpur Kandi Dam pending for 10 years. Due to this, the villages of Jammu had dried up. During the Congress regime, the water that was our right from Ravi was going to Pakistan. When people came to know their reality, now the illusion of confusion is not working in Jammu and Kashmir.Â

‘Crackdown on the corrupt’
He said, “In 10 years we have cracked down on terrorists and corrupt people and now in the coming 5 years we have to take this state to new heights of development. In the last 10 years Jammu Kashmir has completely changed. The biggest thing is that the mind of Jammu Kashmir has changed.”
Taking aim at Congress and National Conference
PM Modi said in his address that now schools are not burnt in Jammu and Kashmir, they are built. He accused Congress and National Conference of nepotism and said that both parties are nepotists. Regarding Article 370, the PM said, “With your blessings, Modi has buried the debris of 370 in the ground. I challenge Congress to bring back 370. The wall of 370 was built in Jammu and Kashmir for power.”

The Prime Minister said that this election is an election to form a strong government in the country. A strong government works amidst challenges. Today the poor have the guarantee of free ration. 10 years ago there was no electricity, water and even roads in the villages of Kashmir. Modi’s guarantee means the guarantee of fulfillment of the guarantee. Today with your blessings Modi has fulfilled the guarantee.
PM Modi said that today terrorism, separatism, cross-border firing, stone-pelting are not the issues of this election. Only one echo is being heard in every nook and corner of the country, once again Modi government!
