Mirzapur 3 Review: ‘Bhaukaal’ is Intact, Missing Munna Bhaiya – Story Feels Stretched but Must-Watch!

Mirzapur 3 Review:'Mirzapur 3' has been released on Prime Video today. This time the audience is going to miss Munna Bhaiya. But Guddu Bhaiya will once again win the hearts of the audience with his powerful role.

Mirzapur 3 Review: ‘Until a person is compelled, he is not strong…’, this is the dialogue of Mirzapur and you must remember Guddu Bhaiya’s dialogue – ‘I started it out of compulsion but now I am enjoying it.’ Mirzapur started with a lot of gusto and it was fun. I enjoyed the first season a lot, the second a little less and the third a little less.

The Bhaukaal may be still there but this time the matter seems to be less important as compared to the first two seasons. But still if you are a fan of Mirzapur then you must watch it, know what is good and what is not good.

Story

Munna Bhaiya has left this world, Kaleen Bhaiya is in coma and Guddu Bhaiya has sat on the throne of Mirzapur. But the fight over who will be the Bahubali of Purvanchal is still going on. Sharad Shukla also wants the throne of Purvanchal and so does Shatrughan. Meanwhile, a different game of politics is going on, a case of SSP’s death is going on against Pandit ji, while Dimpy and Robin’s love story also progresses. But to know who will sit on the throne, what will happen to Kaleen Bhaiya, you will have to watch season 3 of Mirzapur.

How is the series

Mirzapur, that is the series which has Bhaukaal, which has a different fan base. People especially take leave to watch this series, but this time Bhaukaal is less as compared to the first two seasons. The series seems a bit stretched, there are less Bhaukaal scenes and less violence. Munna Bhaiya is missed and Kaleen Bhaiya also does not create much Bhaukaal. There are a few scenes which are funny but such scenes are less, and there are only one or two such scenes which shake you.

There are a lot of expectations from Mirzapur, this series is good but not great and yes, it is not bad at all. Mirzapur fans will like it but they will also feel the lack of Bhaukaal. Many sequences have been dragged too much, the entire responsibility is on Guddu Bhaiya’s shoulders. It is fun whenever he comes, but Guddu Bhaiya could not have carried 10 episodes alone.

Acting

Ali Fazal has brought life into the character of Guddu Bhaiya. The way he beats people, shakes them up. This time he has also shown a different kind of emotion. This season rests on Ali Fazal’s shoulders and he has done complete justice to it. Pankaj Tripathi’s role and Bhaukaal are both less, so the fun is also less. Tripathi ji is a seasoned actor, he is everyone’s Kaleen Bhaiya, so his acting is amazing. Rasika Duggal i.e. Beena Bhabhi’s work is superb, she changes colors every moment and Rasika has presented these shades in a great way.

Anjum’s work is good and her role is also big and important. Vijay Verma is fine, he has progressed so much in the last three years that expectations from him are very high now and here his character may not have been written that strongly but he has done a good job. Shweta Tripathi Sharma i.e. Golu has done a great job. She has supported Guddu Bhaiya in a great way and has created a lot of ruckus.

Rajesh Tailang has been given a lot of space this time and he has done complete justice to his work. Isha Talwar is perfect in the role of the Chief Minister, Lilliput has done a great job in the role of Dadda, Priyanshu Penuli’s work is also fine.

Direction

Gurmeet Singh and Anand Iyer have directed the show and their direction is fine, better was expected from them. In a series like Mirzapur, the Bhaakaal should have increased, but here it has decreased and the reason for this is somewhere the director. He should have added some more spices so that the audience remains hooked. Overall the show can be watched, it is not very great but if you are a fan of Mirzapur then do not miss it.
