Job Burnout : When the same routine starts bothering the working youth and life starts feeling boring, then they should be careful, because later on it can become a problem of job burnout, which is becoming common today. Pressure of working for long hours at the workplace, conflict with colleagues, feeling weak in the daily challenges are the main reasons for this problem.

According to the University of Southern California, being stressed for a long time and thinking day and night can lead to job burnout. It has a bad effect on health. In such a situation, knowing about it can be the best way to avoid it.

If the work that once made you happy starts giving you a headache, then it can be called job burnout. Sometimes, when you get bored while working, it is normal to take a break and go somewhere and then come back recharged, but when the stress of working remains even after returning from a vacation, it can lead to job burnout.

According to WHO, this can happen due to chronic workplace stress. That means too much stress regarding work. It is divided into three parts. First- lack of enthusiasm and energy while working, second- having negative thoughts about the job or feeling bored with work, third- not being able to perform according to one’s ability.

How to Avoid Job Burnout

1. Do not get involved in any work to such an extent that your mental health gets affected, do not bring office work home, keep work away from family, understand your importance

2. Do your favourite things in your free time, play a game or celebrate happiness with your family.

3. If you are going through stress, talk to your close ones, you can also take advice from a doctor.

4. While sleeping, stop thinking about the things that bother you, always have good sleep.

5. Do only one task at a time.

6. Make it a habit to say no at the workplace.

7. Do yoga and meditation to reduce stress.

8. Look at your achievements.
