Jammu & Kashmir Terror Attack: Terrorists targeted migrant workers in Kulgam, Jammu & Kashmir, on Friday evening. Two laborers from Chhattisgarh lost their lives in the attack. The terrorists opened fire, injuring both men. Upon arrival at the hospital, doctors declared a man named Deepak dead, while Bhupendra Kumar succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

In Kulgam, attackers opened fire late in the evening, targeting laborers working at a brick kiln in Kelam. 24-year-old Deepak Ratre died in the incident, while 28-year-old Bhupendra was critically injured. Bhupendra was initially taken to GMC Anantnag, from where doctors referred him to SKIMS Hospital in Soura; however, he passed away during treatment.
Police personnel killed 10 days ago
Terrorists had killed a police officer in Kashmir ten days prior. The terrorists shot the officer in Anantnag city, resulting in his death. Now, in a similar incident, laborers have been targeted. Following the attack, security forces have cordoned off the area, and a search operation is underway. Separately, a checkpoint had been set up in Srinagar to inspect vehicles. A car without a number plate arrived at the spot, and the driver attempted to flee upon seeing the security personnel. Traffic police personnel tried to stop the vehicle but were unsuccessful; however, the car was later recovered, and an investigation has been initiated.
