LPG Price Update: The start of August has brought mixed news for LPG consumers across various regions, including Chhattisgarh. Oil marketing companies have announced new LPG cylinder prices effective from August 1. This time, the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by up to ₹192, offering significant relief to hotels, restaurants, and small business owners. However, there has been no change in the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder.
New Commercial Cylinder Rates in Chhattisgarh
The price of commercial LPG cylinders has also been reduced in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Under the new rates, the 19 kg commercial cylinder has become cheaper by approximately ₹192. This reduction is expected to lower operating costs for hotels, dhabas, catering services, bakeries, and other commercial establishments. The new prices came into effect today, August 1.
No Change in Domestic Cylinder Prices
There is currently no relief for domestic consumers. The price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder remains unchanged; this means general consumers will have to continue purchasing cylinders at the existing rates.
