Raipur: Achieving another significant milestone in passenger service satisfaction, Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur, secured the second position among Airports Authority of India (AAI) airports and the 66th rank globally in the second quarter (April–June 2026) of the Airports Council International (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey. Raipur Airport achieved an ASQ rating of 4.93 in this survey, surpassing the average rating of 4.88 across all AAI airports. In the same survey, Pune Airport secured the first position in India and the 57th rank globally with an ASQ rating of 4.97, while Raipur Airport took the second spot in India and the 66th rank globally with a rating of 4.93. Following them, the airports at Patna, Varanasi, Dehradun, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Goa, and Indore secured the subsequent positions.
The Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program, conducted by Airports Council International (ACI), is the world’s most prestigious passenger satisfaction assessment program. It evaluates airports based on direct passenger feedback regarding cleanliness, security, check-in processes, waiting times, staff behavior, passenger amenities, signage, and the overall travel experience. Consequently, the ASQ ranking is considered a vital benchmark for service quality at airports worldwide.
