Online Attendance CG: School Education Minister Gajendra Yadav has stated that the state government has taken a serious view of the complaints raised by teachers and teachers’ associations regarding technical glitches and errors in the VSK app. He clarified that no teacher’s salary would be deducted due to technical issues encountered with the VSK app, and teachers need not worry about this matter. Minister Yadav informed that instructions have been issued to the concerned officials and the technical team to promptly resolve all issues related to the app. A target has been set to fix the technical flaws and ensure the app runs smoothly by August 15, enabling teachers to record their online attendance without any hassle.
Expressing gratitude towards the state’s teachers, the Education Minister noted that out of approximately 1.75 lakh teachers in the state, around 1.5 lakh (about 85%) are recording their online attendance daily via the VSK app. This demonstrates that the state’s teachers are actively contributing to making the education system more transparent, accountable, and modern by embracing new technology. He remarked that teachers are playing a vital role not only in instruction but also in the success of the digital system; the government respects their cooperation, discipline, and dedication. The VSK app will be made simpler, more useful, and more effective based on the suggestions and experiences shared by the teachers.
Gajendra Yadav affirmed that the state government is fully committed to the dignity, convenience, and interests of the teachers. If any teacher faces difficulty in recording online attendance due to technical reasons, their interests will be fully safeguarded; no teacher will have to bear the consequences of technical glitches. He appealed to all teachers to continue using the VSK app as before and to communicate any technical issues or suggestions to the concerned officials. The government will positively evaluate every suggestion and implement necessary improvements to make the state’s education system even more effective and technology-enabled.
