Yellow alert issued in Delhi
The minimum temperature in Delhi has reached 4-5 degrees. At the same time, pollution has also troubled people. On Monday, the AQI crossed 400. After this, first Grape-3 and later Grape-4 have been imposed. A yellow alert of cold wave has been issued in the capital for the next two days. This fog, smog and pollution together will make life difficult for the people. The maximum temperature in the capital can be 22 and the minimum temperature can be 5 degrees.
Know the condition of Punjab and Haryana
A yellow alert has been issued regarding cold wave in Punjab. The effect of cold wave will be seen in Punjab till 20 December. Here the maximum temperature can go up to 21 degrees while the minimum temperature can go up to 4 degrees. If we talk about Haryana, an alert has been issued regarding cold wave here too. During this period, the maximum temperature can go up to 22 degrees while the minimum temperature can go up to 7 degrees. The temperature in Chandigarh has gone down to 5 degrees.
You may have to face a chilly winter
Talking about the hilly states, the mercury will remain in minus in Kupwara, Kokernag, Gulmarg and Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, the minimum temperature can go up to 5 degrees in other places. An alert has been issued regarding cold wave here till 22 December. The temperature is in minus at many places in Uttarakhand. The maximum temperature here will be 24 while the minimum temperature will be 1 degree. People in Himachal Pradesh will have to face freezing cold. A cold wave alert has been issued here.
Know the weather of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar
Most of the districts of Uttar Pradesh are in the grip of cold wave. The minimum temperature in most of the districts remains between 5℃ to 8℃. Dense fog will prevail in Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Mau, Ballia, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar and Baghpat districts. The lowest minimum temperature of 3.5℃ has been recorded in Ayodhya.
If we talk about Bihar, cold wave is continuing in Bihar as well. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for cold wave in districts like Bhagalpur, Munger, Jamui and Khagaria.
Know the condition of MP and Rajasthan
A yellow alert has been issued for cold wave in the eastern and western regions of Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding cold wave till December 22. Minimum temperature is likely to be recorded below 2 degrees at some places in Shekhawati region.
If we talk about Madhya Pradesh, cold wave continues in Rajgarh, Khandwa, Barwani, Pachmarhi, Shajapur, Umaria, Shahdol, Jabalpur, Mandla and Seoni. On Monday, the state capital Bhopal broke its years old record. Here the minimum night temperature reached below 4 degrees i.e. 3.3 degrees. Earlier, the night temperature had gone so low in 1966.
