PM Modi’s Fiery 92-Minute Rajya Sabha Speech: Slams Congress for ‘Family First’ Agenda, Highlights ‘Nation First’ Vision | 5 Key Takeaways

PM Modi Speech Rajya Sabha: PM Modi emphasizes government's inclusive growth agenda in Rajya Sabha, delivering a sharp critique of Congress policies.

PM Modi Speech in Rajya Sabha: PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday responded to the motion of thanks on the President’s address in the Rajya Sabha. His 92-minute speech focused on the government’s ‘Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas’. Through this, he targeted the Congress.

In his speech, the PM mentioned Baba Saheb Ambedkar, reservation, UCC, tribals, Divyang, transgender, Nari Shakti and emergency. He read poems to corner the Congress and the opposition.

In the middle of the speech he said, Honorable Kharge ji keeps reciting couplets in front of you and Chairman ji, you also keep enjoying it. I too had recited a couplet…

Tamasha karne walon ko kya khabar, humne kitne toofanon ko paar kar diya jalaya hai.
(What do the showmen know, how many storms we have crossed and burned.)

Modi read the poem of poet Neeraj…

Hai bahut andhiyaara, ab sooraj nikalna chahiye, jis tarah se bhi ho bas ye mausam badalna chahiye.
(It is very dark, the sun should rise now, this weather should change somehow.)

PM said that in 1970 when Congress was ruling everywhere, another poem of Gopal Das Neeraj ‘Phir Deep Jalega’ was published. He said-

Mere desh udaas na ho, phir deep jalega, timir dhalega.
(My country should not be sad, the lamp will be lit again, the darkness will fade away)

After this, the PM also mentioned the poem of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He said that 40 years ago, Atalji had said that ‘the sun will rise, the darkness will be removed, the lotus will bloom’.

PM Modi Speech in Rajya Sabha
The PM said that the people of the country have given us the opportunity to serve them for the third consecutive time. This shows that they have tested our model of development.

PM Modi Speech in Rajya Sabha: 5 Key Takeaways

1. Nepotism:

Such a big party has become dedicated to one family. Family First has been paramount in the Congress model. The people of the country have given us the opportunity to serve for the third consecutive time. This shows that the people of the country have tested, understood and supported our model of development. Our model is Nation First. With this feeling, we work on the policies of the country.’

2. Emergency:

The country has also seen the period of emergency. How the constitution was crushed. The spirit of the constitution was trampled. All this was done for the comforts of power. During the emergency, famous artist Dev Anand ji was asked to support the emergency. Dev Anand refused. Therefore, Dev Anand ji’s films were banned on Doordarshan. Kishore Kumar ji refused to sing for Congress. On this, Congress banned Kishore’s songs on Akashvani.

Those who talk about democracy. During the emergency, many big personalities of the country were tied in chains. The word constitution does not suit their mouth.

3. Baba Saheb Ambedkar:

If we look at history, we can see that Congress hated Baba Saheb Ambedkar and was so angry with him. All the things were done to vent this anger against him and defeat him twice in elections. Baba Saheb was never considered worthy of Bharat Ratna. Not only this, the people of this country respected Baba Saheb’s sentiments. But today Congress is forced to say Jai Bhim, their mouths dry up.

4. Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas:

Just like us, Congress too has a motto in its politics. Our motto is ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’. Whereas, Congress’ motto is ‘Shortening the line of others’. The basis of our governance is Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. We live it. In the last decade, we have implemented the plan of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas at every level. As far as Congress is concerned, it will be a mistake to expect Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas from them. This is beyond their thinking and understanding.

5. Make in India:

Today, after getting free from the clutches of Congress, the country is breathing a sigh of relief and flying high. Coming out of the license raj and evil policies of Congress, we are giving importance to ‘Make in India’.

Today India has become the second largest mobile manufacturing country in the world. Earlier we used to import most of the phones from abroad. Now we have established our identity as a mobile exporter.

‘Today our country is the second largest steel producer in the world. In the last ten years, there has been a huge increase in the export of toys, vaccines, medicines, AYUSH and herbal products. The turnover of Khadi and village industry has exceeded Rs 1.5 lakh crore.’
