UP Politics: ‘All is not well’ in UP BJP! PM Modi and Top BJP Leaders Step In as Tensions Rise

UP Politics: After the political tussle in UP BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, party president JP Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah are constantly in touch with the state leaders.

UP Politics:  After the results of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the ongoing political upheaval in Uttar Pradesh is in discussions. It is reported that after the tussle in UP BJP, the high command had to come forward and take the command in its hands. The high command also instructed the leaders of UP not to raise opposing voices on public forums and to say everything within the party.

After the alleged tension between the BJP state unit and the government in Uttar Pradesh, it came to such a pass that BJP President JP Nadda had to attend the meeting of the core committee of Uttar Pradesh BJP. It is reported that in this meeting it was said that due to the tension between the organization and the government and the neglect of the workers, the party faced such a situation in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Speculation of rift between Yogi and Keshav

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath admitted that BJP workers were disappointed after the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said, ‘There is an organization above the government.’ After the UP meeting, Maurya came to Delhi and met party president JP Nadda and apprised him of the internal situation of UP BJP in a closed room.

Maurya was missing from the meeting

There are no signs of change in leadership in UP at the moment. However, major changes are expected at the organizational level. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath  called 30 ministers for a meeting and made a strategy for the upcoming by-elections on 10 assembly seats. Both the Deputy Chief Ministers did not attend this meeting called by CM Yogi. After this, discussions intensified in the political corridors.

PM Modi met the state president

On one hand, Keshav Prasad Maurya met BJP President JP Nadda, while on the other hand, state president Bhupendra Chaudhary met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to reports, during the meeting between PM Modi and state president Bhupendra Chaudhary, there was a discussion on BJP not performing as expected in  the Lok Sabha elections 2024 general elections.

PM Modi in action mode

After the party’s performance in UP, PM Narendra Modi came into action mode and ordered MPs and ministers to communicate directly with the workers. At the same time, party president JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are also continuously participating in the meetings of the working committees and are constantly interacting with the party workers.
