Weather Update: The weather changed in many areas of the national capital Delhi on Friday evening. After bright sunshine in the afternoon, clouds suddenly covered the sky in the evening. It became dark before the end of the day. There is also news of drizzle at many places along with strong winds.
The weather department had earlier predicted light to moderate rain and thundershowers accompanied with strong winds with a speed of about 30-50 kmph at many places in Aligarh, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Central Delhi, East Delhi, Faridabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Hapur.
Along with this, strong winds and rain were also predicted in Jhajjar, Meerut, Mewat, New Delhi, Noida, North Delhi, North East, North West, Palwal, Rewari, Rohtak, Shahdara, Sonipat, South Delhi, South East, South West and West Delhi.
Earlier, the minimum temperature in Delhi on Friday was recorded at 20.5 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees Celsius more than the average temperature of this season, while the maximum temperature was expected to be 36 degrees Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department informed that the humidity level in Delhi was recorded at 74 percent at 8.30 am today.
The weather department had predicted generally cloudy sky and light rain during the day. It said that the maximum temperature in the capital may remain around 36 degrees Celsius.
