Israel-Iran War Looms: Who Has how much Strength and Which Country Will Support Whom? | US Deploys Military Amid Tension; 10 Points

Israel-Iran War Looms: If a war actually breaks out between these two powerful countries of the Middle East, what weapons will be used and which country will stand with whom?

Israel-Iran War Looms: Is West Asia on the verge of burning? Is Iran really going to attack Israel? If it does, when will it do so? Western intelligence agencies have even given the date. According to those agencies, this attack will take place between 12 and 13 August. This discussion is going on in Israel’s prestigious newspaper Jerusalem Post. Meanwhile, situations of tension and confrontation are visible everywhere. The question is that if a war really starts between these two powerful countries of the Middle East, what weapons will be used in it and which country will stand with whom? An even bigger question is whether only the Middle East countries will be affected by this war or other countries of the world will also be forced to bear its ill effects. Is this not a sign of a big crisis facing the world?

When Hezbollah attacked Israel on Saturday, Israel also retaliated. In this situation of tension, the question arises that if there is a war between Iran and Israel, with which weapons will it be fought and with the help of which countries? In this regard, it will be interesting to see what is the military strength of both?

A Match of Equality

World war experts consider Israel and Iran to be almost equal in terms of military power. According to the Global Firepower Index, if Iran is at number 14 in the world, then Israel is also at number 17. In terms of army, weapons and aircraft, both compete with each other on different fronts.

One thing to understand here is that Iran appears to have more military force and weapons, but they are old.. their maintenance is also not good. There are many restrictions on it. On the other hand, Israel has ultra-modern weapons. Despite being surrounded from all sides in West Asia, it has been fighting its battles and winning them too. Of course, American help has been behind it. But if there is a war between these two countries, then it will not be limited to Iran and Israel only. More powers will be involved in it. Even if the friendly countries do not come together openly, their weapons can be with these countries.

Who is with Israel?

Israel does not have support within West Asia but it has the support of America, France, Britain, Germany and most of the European countries. Australia is also with it. In fact, this is the strength of this country.

Who is with Iran?

Iran will not only get support but also help from its neighbouring countries. These include countries like Palestine, Turkey, Lebanon, Syria, Qatar, Oman. Russia and China are also standing with Iran.

Hezbollah prepares to launch deep assault into Israel

According to reports, the Iran-backed Hezbollah group is preparing to attack inside Israel. It says that it will no longer be limited to military targets. This means that Hezbollah can also attack residential areas of Israel, which will result in the death of ordinary citizens. Israel is angry because Israel killed a Hezbollah commander. Hezbollah is firing almost daily, targeting the Israeli army.

Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukar was killed in an attack by Israel on Tuesday. Five civilians were also killed in this attack. This has infuriated Hezbollah and Iran. This is the reason why they do not want to limit their attacks to Israeli military bases. Iran says that Hezbollah and the Israeli regime had been following some rules, which included limiting attacks to border areas and military bases. But this rule was violated in the attack carried out to kill Shukar in Beirut.

Israel and Iran on the verge of war in the Middle East, US military deployment amid tension: 10 points

Iran has said it expects Lebanon’s Tehran-backed Hezbollah group to attack deep inside Israel. It has said it will no longer limit itself to military targets because Israel killed a Hezbollah commander. Hezbollah has been firing on Israeli forces on a near daily basis. Indian citizens in Israel have been asked to remain alert and follow security protocols amid rising tensions in the region…

1- Iran’s mission to the United Nations said Israel’s attack on a crowded residential area in south Beirut had changed the calculations. “We expect Hezbollah to select more targets and attack more deeply in its response. Secondly, it will not limit its response to military targets,” the mission was quoted as saying by the official news agency IRNA.

2- Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukar was killed in the Israeli attack on Tuesday. According to the Lebanese Health Ministry, five civilians, including three women and two children, were also killed in the attack.

3- Israel has said Shukar was responsible for a rocket attack that killed 12 young men in the Golan Heights. He also directed Hezbollah’s attacks on Israel since the Gaza war began.

4- Iran’s mission said Hezbollah and the (Israeli) regime had adhered to certain limits, including limiting attacks to border areas and military targets. It said the attack in Beirut violated that limit.

5- Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said that just hours after Shukar’s killing, Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in an early morning “attack” on his residence in Tehran. Israel has declined to comment.

6- The Pentagon, the US defense headquarters, has said that America will increase its military presence in the Middle East and will deploy additional warships and fighter jets in the region to “minimize the possibility of escalation of regional tensions” by Iran or its allies.

7- Following the escalation of tensions in the region, Indian citizens in Israel have been asked to remain vigilant and follow security protocols. This advice for Indian citizens in Israel has been given by the Indian Embassy in Beirut. This advice comes a day after citizens were strictly advised not to travel to Lebanon until further notice. They have also been asked to leave Lebanon.

8- The leader of Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels also vowed a “military response” to Ismail’s killing. “These blatant and dangerous crimes must be met with a military response. These crimes are an advance by the Israeli enemy,” Abdul Malik al-Houthi said in a televised speech.

9- Yemeni rebels have been firing drones and missiles at ships in the Red Sea since November, saying they are showing solidarity with Palestinians over the Gaza war.

10- According to news agency AFP, at least 542 people from Lebanon have been killed in the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah since October last year. Most of them are fighters, but 114 civilians are also included.
