Difference between caucus and primary election
- The first caucus from the Republican Party was held in the state of Iowa. Actually, primary elections are conducted by the state government. At the same time, the caucus party has its own event. The primary election follows exactly the same voting process as the general election. During this period, a worker of one party can also vote in the elections of another party.
- In the caucus, sitting in a room or hall, party representatives can vote by raising their hands or by casting a slip. A team from the party works as an observer.
