Ambikapur-Delhi Train: There is welcome news for rail passengers in Surguja. The Ambikapur-Nizamuddin Express will now operate twice a week. Member of Parliament Chintamani Maharaj flagged off the train’s second weekly service. The introduction of this additional trip will further improve rail connectivity between Ambikapur and Delhi. Additionally, passengers will gain extra options for traveling not only to Delhi but also to other major cities across the country. Students, businesspeople, and working professionals are expected to benefit the most from this facility.
The launch of the second weekly service of the Ambikapur-Nizamuddin Express is being viewed as a significant step towards expanding rail facilities in Surguja. It will offer passengers in the region greater convenience for travel to Delhi compared to before. Notably, MP Chintamani Maharaj had met Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to request the introduction of this second weekly service. Following the approval of this request, the additional service has now commenced.
MP Chintamani Maharaj stated that providing better rail facilities and robust connectivity to the region’s passengers is his priority. He added that the second weekly service would make travel to Delhi and other major cities more convenient for the people of Surguja.
