NEET Paper Leak Scandal: How did the NEET UG paper get leaked? Who did such a big scandal? Where did it start and who is its mastermind? Now the whole story of this NEET paper leak scandal has come to the fore. The CBI has told in a systematic way how the NEET UG paper leak scandal happened. The NEET paper leak scandal started from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand. The date was 5 May 2024. On this day, the tampering with the future of NEET children started.
According to the CBI investigation, the NEET question paper was spread everywhere from Oasis School in Hazaribagh on the morning of 5 May 2024. The NEET question paper was illegally obtained from the school by Pankaj Kumar alias Aditya alias Sahil. He is one of the many masterminds of the NEET paper leak.

According to the CBI investigation, Pankaj Kumar is the mastermind behind the NEET paper leak. Pankaj Kumar, the mastermind behind the question paper leak, in connivance with the principal and vice-principal of Hazaribagh’s Oasis School, obtained the question paper a few hours before the start of the examination on May 5, 2024. He solved these question papers and sent them to the candidates who had paid the money.
In the investigation conducted so far by the CBI in the NEET question paper leak case, it was told that Pankaj Kumar, one of the alleged masterminds, committed the crime in connivance with the principal of Oasis School, National Examination Agency (NTA) district coordinator Ehsanul Haque and vice-principal and center superintendent Imtiaz Alam.
When and how did the paper leak happen
However, the CBI has arrested these three. The CBI said that it could identify the centre on the basis of half-burnt papers recovered from a hostel in Patna. According to the CBI, the boxes containing the NEET UG 2024 question papers were brought to the school and kept in the control room on the morning of 5 May 2024. Within minutes of the boxes arriving, the principal and vice-principal unauthorizedly and illegally allowed Sutradhar to enter the room where the boxes were kept. Surprisingly, some MBBS students are involved in this scandal.
MBBS students committed the scam
If the CBI is to be believed, on the morning of the NEET exam, a group of students studying MBBS at Patna AIIMS in Hazaribagh, Ranchi RIMS and a medical college in Bharatpur and who solved the question paper, carried out this paper leak scandal. This group together solved the NEET paper so that it could be delivered to those who paid money. The CBI has arrested seven alleged question paper solvers in the paper leak case.
The paper reached some selected students
According to the CBI, the solved question paper was shared with some selected students. They paid money to the accused. All those who solved the question paper are MBBS students in reputed colleges. All of them have been identified. Most of them have been arrested. Those who solved the question paper were specially brought to Hazaribagh as part of a conspiracy. The CBI has identified other members of the gang working with Pankaj Kumar and some of them have also been arrested.
How many arrests so far
According to the CBI spokesperson, this group that solved the question paper was actively assisted by a group of accused. They arranged for the stay of the candidates, another group of accused was involved in gathering and transporting the candidates. Currently, the candidates who were provided with solved question papers are being traced and necessary action is being taken. CBI has so far arrested 36 people in the NEET paper leak case.
