Bhim Army Chief in UP Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Chandrashekhar, the candidate from Nagina Lok Sabha seat of Uttar Pradesh, has the highest number of cases registered against him across the country. This claim has been made in the report of the Association of Democratic Reforms (ADR).
According to the ADR report, Azad Samaj Party candidate from Nagina seat Chandrashekhar Azad alias Ravan has the highest number of cases registered against him in the country. Azad Samaj Party leader and chief Kanshiram’s 36-year-old Chandrashekhar also has assets worth lakhs. He has assets worth Rs 39 lakh 71 thousand 581. Out of this, movable assets are worth Rs 6 lakh and immovable assets are worth Rs 33 lakh.

Cases have been registered on these charges
Voting is to be held on 19 April in the first phase on Nagina Lok Sabha seat. According to the affidavit submitted by Chandrashekhar to the Election Commission of India for this election, a total of 36 cases have been registered against him. Cases have been registered under 167 different sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), out of which 78 sections have been registered in serious cases.
Several cases are registered against Chandrasekhar, including those related to causing hurt to a public servant in order to deter him from discharge of his duty, attempt to murder, punishment for robbery, among others.
Cases are registered in these districts and states
Out of 36 cases against Bhim Army Chief, 26 cases are going on in different courts of Saharanpur which have been registered in various police stations of the district. Apart from this, 1 case is registered in Ghaziabad, 2 in Delhi, 2 in Muzaffarnagar, 1 in Lucknow, 1 in Hathras, 2 in Aligarh and 1 in Nagina.
On the other hand, BSP candidate from Saharanpur Majid Ali is at the fifth place in the list of crorepati candidates in the country. If we talk about crorepati candidates, BSP is at the first place, whose most rich candidates are contesting the elections in the first phase.
