Bumrah’s 400th Wicket Stuns Bangladesh: Kohli’s Shocking Dismissal After Skipping Review – Records Shattered at Chennai Test!

Bangladesh’s first innings was reduced to 149 runs on the second day. Till stumps on Friday, the Indian team has scored 81 runs after losing 3 wickets in the second innings. The team had got a lead of 227 runs in the first innings, now its lead has increased to 308 runs. Rishabh Pant returned unbeaten after scoring 12 runs and Shubman Gill returned unbeaten after scoring 33 runs.

Indian fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah has become the sixth Indian pacer to take 400+ wickets. He has taken 401 wickets in international cricket. Kapil Dev is at number one with 687 wickets.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has come at number four in the list of most runs after 10 Tests in international cricket. He has scored 1094 runs in 10 matches. Australia’s Sir Don Bradman is at number one in this list.

1. Shakib missed Akash Deep’s catch

Akash Deep got a reprieve in Taskin Ahmed’s over. He wanted to pull the short length ball, but could not time the ball. In such a situation, Shakib Al Hasan, standing at square leg, tried to catch the ball by running backwards, but failed.

2. Zakir Hasan got a lifeline, Rohit did not take DRS

Zakir Hasan got a lifeline in Mohammad Siraj’s over. The 5th ball of the 4th over hit Hasan’s pad and he made a strong appeal, but the field umpire rejected it. Indian captain Rohit Sharma had the option of DRS, but he did not take DRS after the advice of wicketkeeper Pant. Later on seeing the replay, it was found that the ball was on the leg stump and Zakir Hasan was out. Then Zakir Hasan was playing on 2 runs.

3. Akash Deep bowled two batsmen on two consecutive balls

Akash Deep gave two blows to Bangladesh on two balls. He dismissed Zakir on the first ball of the 8th over and Mominul on the second ball. Akash Deep bowled Zakir on an incoming delivery. Akash bowled a good length ball to Mominul who came to bat after him. The ball came inwards and hit the pad and then hit the stumps.

Bangladesh lost its first wicket on 2 runs. Jasprit Bumrah bowled Shadman Islam in the first over of the innings. Shadman could not understand Bumrah’s good length ball and the ball hit the pad and then hit the stumps.

5. Kohli got out due to not taking the review

Virat Kohli missed out on making a big score in the second innings as well. He got out after scoring 17 runs. Mehdi Hasan Miraz’s full ball hit Kohli’s pad, there was a strong appeal, the umpire signaled out. Kohli did not take the review, if he had taken it, he would have been saved. The replay showed that the ball hit the pad after hitting the bat.
