Designed with the human body in mind, this “human fridge” boasts several high-tech features that set it apart. During extreme heat, this special box rapidly lowers a person’s body temperature to 15°C, thereby reducing the risk of heatstroke and heat exhaustion. It is also cost-effective to operate; according to the company, the running cost is merely around ₹9.5 per hour. Furthermore, it features a portable design, making it suitable for use indoors—in homes and offices—as well as at outdoor events, sports venues, and by personnel working in the field.
Safety Features to Prevent Overcooling
Excessive use of any cooling device can be detrimental to health, so the company has prioritized safety measures. To protect the human body from excessive cooling, it is equipped with a smart ‘auto shut-off’ timer that turns off automatically after 20 minutes of continuous use, ensuring the body temperature does not drop below safe levels.
