Haryana Elections Shock: Brother vs Sister Showdown in Tosham! Congress Unveils Second List of Candidates!

Haryana Elections: In a dramatic twist for Haryana elections, Congress released its second list, revealing a family face-off in Tosham between cousins Anirudh Chaudhary (Congress) and Shruti Chaudhary (BJP). The battle intensifies with more key candidates announced.

Haryana Elections: Congress released the second list of nine candidates for the Haryana assembly elections on Sunday. Chaudhary Virendra Singh’s son Brijendra Singh has been given a ticket from Uchana Kalan. Similarly, the party expressed confidence in Anirudh Chaudhary from Tosham. An interesting contest will be seen from Tosham assembly constituency because Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has given ticket to Shruti Chaudhary, who is Anirudh Chaudhary’s cousin. For Congress, Mohit Grover from Gurugram and Vardhan Yadav from Badshahpur will try their luck.

With this list, the Congress has announced a total of 41 candidates for the 90-member assembly. Apart from Brijendra Singh and Grover, the Congress has fielded Ashok Arora from Thanesar, Kuldeep Sharma from Ganaur, Paramveer Singh from Tohana, Balram Dangi from Meham and Manju Chaudhary from Nangal Chaudhary.

The Congress on Friday released its first list of 32 candidates for the elections, naming former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi, state unit chief Udaybhan from Hodal seat and wrestler Vinesh Phogat from Julana.

Before the Lok Sabha elections, Chaudhary father and son had left BJP and returned home to Congress.

Talks are going on between Congress and AAP regarding alliance

Several rounds of talks have been held between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress regarding alliance for Haryana assembly elections. However, both the parties have not yet reached a position to take a final decision. There is a buzz that Congress can give 5 seats to Aam Aadmi Party in Haryana. Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chaddha, who is in talks with Congress regarding alliance, said in a poetic style that there is a desire, there is a longing and there is hope.

Sources are claiming that Congress has agreed to give 5 seats to Aam Aadmi Party and Aam Aadmi Party has also almost agreed on this. It is worth mentioning that Aam Aadmi Party was earlier demanding 10 seats, however later there was a discussion that AAP will agree on 7 seats. However, now the discussion is going on about 5 seats. According to sources, very positive talks are going on between both the parties. However, by announcing the candidate for the Gurugram seat, Congress has put an end to the speculations in which it was being said that this seat could be given to Aam Aadmi Party.

Congress workers protest

Some Congress workers in Haryana protested outside the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters on Sunday and demanded that local leaders be given preference over “outsiders” in the party. The workers protested to express their displeasure over giving tickets to relatives of leaders. Most of the protesters were from Bawani Khera in Haryana and held placards that read “Will not tolerate outsider candidates”.
